How We Can Help

Dawn Farm offers a continuum of addiction treatment and recovery support services.

Chapin Street Project

This holiday season we are thrilled to share that we are opening two additional transitional homes as part of our Chapin Street Project. Through the Chapin Street Project, newly sober addicts and alcoholics are able to live in a supportive, sober environment for up to 2 years as they build healthy communities and get back on their feet. Dedicated staff and live-in house managers support these men and women as they maintain jobs, attend AA meetings, and give back to their communities. Last year, we were pleased to serve 355 people through the Chapin Street Project—60% of whom were homeless upon entry. Our capacity for service will grow even higher in 2017 with the addition of 12 new beds!

We have managed to collect nearly all of the furnishings needed to make our new houses into homes through the generosity of community members who donated gently used items. However, some hard-to-find necessities remain, such as refrigerators and dressers. Other items are best if purchased new for health and safety reasons, such as beds and bedding. A monetary donation from you can help us secure the remaining items necessary to open our new housing facilities to those who need them this holiday season.

  • $1,000 donation – refrigerator
  • $400 donation – bed frame and mattress
  • $200 donation – dresser
  • $100 donation – bedding set with comforter and pillow
  • $50 donation – towel set

VideoA Life Rebuilt

Amy came to Dawn Farm's Spera Recovery Center feeling "broken and hopeless and like [she] didn't have a soul". In detox, she found others who felt the same way, but also found hope and faith.
