Detox Stats
Our Detox Facility treated 1144 individuals in 2005-averaging 13 clients each day. We are at capacity most of the year.

Detox operates 24/7, 365 days each year, and we often have a waiting list for prospective clients. 73% of the year’s admissions were men, 27% were minorities.

More than 64% of Detox admissions were homeless, and 65 men and women entered our special Detox Outreach program. A significant 92% of these clients followed through with additional treatment.

Dawn Farm Detox

Detox is a special place-a safe and welcoming entry to recovery. People come to this unique house on Division Street feeling lost and hopeless-and find a new way of life.

Formerly the Dawn Farm Re-entry House (1984-1994), this facility was converted in 1994 for use as a sub-acute detoxification site at the request of Washtenaw County officials. Clients of the Detox facility can walk in, stay three to five days, and withdraw from drugs and alcohol in a safe, compassionate environment. Staff locate referrals and advocate for clients, attempting to provide the next supportive step to entering the local recovering community.
