A bunch of Dawn Farm staff had a blast playing soccer in a soccer-a-thon fundraiser for the Ann Arbor PORT Street Soccer team.
They describe the team this way:
PORT Street Soccer’s mission is to use soccer as a way to engage and empower the homeless in our community. PORT Street Soccer’s vision is to use soccer as a tool to provide a healthy social activity for people in the homeless community, with the goal of providing a positive and empowering experience.
Dawn Farm staff and clients/residents has participated in the street soccer program for a couple of years.
