Spirituality and Recovery from Addiction

This program will describe how spirituality relates to recovery from chemical dependency, explore personal spiritual needs and life choices, and discuss the Twelve Steps as a spiritual program which can benefit anyone (recovering or not.)

About the presenter:
Ed Conlin, BSEd, CADC, is a former Dawn Farm Detox staff member and Team Leader. He grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and after graduating from the University of Michigan, he worked for over 20 years on behalf of a Charitable Trust in Europe. Before returning to Ann Arbor and joining Dawn Farm, Ed worked intensely in Belfast, Northern Ireland with paramilitaries, delinquents, and alcoholics. He has presented on his work in Europe and the United States.
Ed is currently working as an addiction counselor with the Detroit Capuchin Service System in Detroit.
