Grief Group

This is just an FYI.

You may not be aware that we are co-sponsoring a grief group in Livonia for families that have lost a family member to drug or alcohol use. The group is being facilitated by Tana Bridge, a member of the social work faculty at EMU and an expert in traumatic loss, and Melissa Murphy, our EMU MSW intern.

The first group met this week and we had 7 moms who lost a child to drug and/or alcohol use. The group went very well and we hope to have more people at the next group in January.
